About
I'm Md Shakhawat Hossen, a product designer and Shopify engineer from Rajshahi, Bangladesh. I've spent seven years on UI/UX and Shopify work, and I work remotely with clients abroad.
I founded Batin Studio in 2021, at 20, with no capital and no network. It began as a design and development studio. In May 2025 it became Batin Studio LLC, a Wyoming company, and in 2026 I turned it into a Shopify CRO agency: we A/B test fixes on a brand's store and keep only what earns more revenue per visitor. Batin is a Shopify Select Partner.
I build products too. Show Discount and Auto Media Optimizer are live on the Shopify App Store. Show Discount came from a problem I kept fixing by hand on client stores: a sale runs in Shopify's admin, but the product page doesn't show it. I'm also building DM Engine, an Instagram outreach tool in early access, and Wispread, privacy-first text-to-speech.
In 2023 my team, Team Voyagers, became Global Champion of the NASA Space Apps Challenge with the Best Storytelling Award, one of 10 global awards picked from 5,556 submissions. For the "Everything Starts with Water" challenge we built an interactive web game about the water cycle. I was the team's UI/UX and product designer.
I'm studying for a BSc in Computer Science online at University of the People. I speak Bengali and English, and some Hindi.

Craft chocolate Shopify store on a long-term retainer: custom theme design, site speed and CRO, a custom Recharge bundle builder, a $39 taste-test to $100 stock-up funnel with an 11-email Klaviyo win-back flow, and Meta ad landing pages.
Purishh
Supplements and skincare Shopify store on a long-term retainer: store redesign and CRO, a long-form SEO blog series built on real COA lab data, a three-month content calendar, and Appstle portal styling.
Campus Buddy
Android networking app for university students and alumni, live on Google Play. I designed the UI/UX: a feed for jobs and opportunities, directories for students, alumni and class reps, course notes and past exam questions, and member profiles.
Die Schrothkur
Redesign of an Austrian Schroth cure retreat's website: 11 page templates designed in Figma, then built in Webflow by another team.
Emouri Studios
Dark, video-forward digital education platform for a filmmaking course, with a creator-focused, minimalist UI.
SRH Labs
Geotechnical and materials testing lab site for a Saudi Arabia-based consultancy: corporate, technical, with SASO/ASTM-compliant reporting UX.
